50% less emissions of dust and heavy metals when pouring liquid hot metal 

At the Steel Plant, liquid hot metal is converted into steel. When tipping the hot metal into the converter (large pan), flue gases are released. Previously, these gasses were extracted by 2 extraction units. Since the end of 2023, a third one has been added. This installation was built right through the roof while the Steel Plant continued to run.
